FUNimation Hopes to Release Evangelion 3.33 Early Next Year

Anime News Network’s ANNCast podcast recently had some folks from FUNimation on the show, and of course the topic of the long-awaited Evangelion: 3.33 You Can (Not) Redo release was brought up. Everyone wants to know when to expect it, and according to FUNimation the aim is to get it on home video in early 2016.
The original plan was to release Evangelion 3.33 on February 18, 2014, but that never came to be. As announced last year, FUNimation is working directly with Hideaki Anno’s Studio Khara on the release.
