A new character was introduced in episode 6 of the New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT anime. Ladies and gentlemen, meet Gunsmith Bitch! The official website followed up the introduction with news that Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori Goto in BOCCHI THE ROCK) provides the voice.
Here’s how Gunsmith Bitch is described: “A skilled underwear weapon merchant living in Daten City. She researches, develops, and sells technology that converts all kinds of underwear into weapons in a mysterious space called ‘Pants Dimension’ through her own unique channels. When she wears glasses, she looks like a geek girl, but both appearances are her true form.”

Aoyama also shared some comments:
I was still in junior high school when the first series was broadcast. The avant-garde and innovative stimulation of this work really struck me, and I was completely absorbed in watching it. So when the new series was announced, I was just thrilled as a fan. I thought I was lucky just to be able to join an audition, so when I heard that I had passed, I felt like I was on cloud nine. I think it would be great to run through at a speed that keeps you on your toes every second, with one million horsepower…one million varigi. I would appreciate your support!
There’s also a character trailer for fellow newcomers Polyester and Polyurethane, who were previously revealed with the respective voices of Junya Enoki (Yuji in JUJUTSU KAISEN) and Yuto Uemura (Tamaki in My Hero Academia).

The new series is streaming on Amazon Prime. Crunchyroll streams the original 2010 anime and describes it like so:
