To Your Eternity Season 3, the continuation of the ongoing anime adaptation of Yoshitoki Oima’s manga, is set to hit screens starting October 4.
Alongside that news comes word that as in previous seasons, composer Masashi Hamauzu will create the ending theme.
The new season is helmed by chief director Kiyoko Sayama and director Sota Yokote at Studio Drive and Studio Massket, the latter of which is a new addition for season 3.
The series, based on the manga of the same name by Yoshitoki Oima, first went on air in April 2021. The second season premiered in October 2022. Oima’s manga ran from 2016 to June of this year.
Here’s how Kodansha describes the manga:
A new manga from the creator of the acclaimed A Silent Voice, featuring intimate, emotional drama and an epic story spanning time and space…
A lonely boy wandering the Arctic regions of North America meets a wolf, and the two become fast friends, depending on each other to survive the harsh environment. But the boy has a history, and the wolf is more than meets the eye as well… To Your Eternity is a totally unique and moving manga about death, life, reincarnation, and the nature of love.
