A date is officially in place for the live-action Alice in Borderland season 3, which previously announced plans for a 2025 premiere. Now Netflix has locked the third season in for a September 25 debut, as revealed in the new trailer below.
Alice in Borderland Season 3 Trailer
The Alice in Borderland series is based on the manga by Haro Aso, which first started its run in the pages of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday S magazine back in 2010 before moving to Weekly Shonen Sunday in 2015 and ultimately coming to an end in 2016. The series previously inspired a set of OVA episodes, which are available to stream on HIDIVE.
Here’s how Netflix describes the new season:
Alice in Borderland Season 3 Plot
In the previous season, Arisu (#KentoYamazaki) and Usagi (#TaoTsuchiya) cleared all of the games and returned to the real world. They have since gotten married and established a happy life together. Their memories of the borderland were erased, but they see glimpses of it in dreams and hallucinations. One day, Usagi, led by afterlife researcher Ryuji (#KentoKaku), suddenly vanishes. At the same time as Usagi’s disappearance, Banda (#HayatoIsomura) hands Arisu the final card: the Joker.
