Haikyu!! fans got some good news over the weekend with confirmation that the second Haikyu!! anime film is on the way. Following the act of Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, next up is Haikyu!! Vs. The Little Giant, the announcement for which was shared during the occasion of Sunday’s Haikyu!! 10th Event -Next Step-.

Beyond that, the anime short “Haikyu!! Bakemono-tachi no Iku Tokoro” (“Where Monsters Go”) is coming to TV in Japan.
Susumu Mitsunaka continues to write and direct the sequel anime film at Production I.G. Crunchyroll streams the TV anime and the first film, describing the feature like so:
Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the “Little Giant.” But, Hinata soon finds that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama.
