The next Crayon Shin-chan feature to hit the big screen in Japan will be Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Cho Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magnificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers), and a premiere date is officially in place. Shin-chan’s 2025 outing is set to make its way to cinemas in Japan on August 8.
The premiere date news came along with a new trailer, which you can watch below.

Billed as “the series’ first dance entertainment movie,” this one is set in India, which is also a first for the series. Frequent Shin-chan film director Masakazu Hashimoto is at the helm again, with Kimiko Ueno on the screenplay for the Shin-Ei Animation production.
We don’t get much in the way of Crayon Shin-chan in the west, but we did recently get the new game, Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town! You can check out our review here.
