Ishura Season 2 premiered in January, and now it’s barreling toward the second half of its story. To get ready for what’s next, the official website and accounts for the anime revealed the new visual below.
Ishura Season 2 is being made at Passione, with Yuki Ogawa of FLCL Progressive and Mieruko-chan helming the project as director. Kenta Ihara is on series composition and Yoko Kikuchi and Yuka Takashina are on character designs. The main changes this time around are that Takuya Asaoka, Kazuo Ogura and Nami Niinuma are no longer in their respective roles of assistant director, art director and editor.
Yen Press publishes the original Ishura light novels by Keiso and Kureta and gave this description for the plot:
Ishura Plot
In a world where the Demon King has died, a host of demigods capable of felling him have inherited the world: a master fencer who can figure out how to take out their opponent with a single glance; a lancer so swift they can break the sound barrier; a wyvern rogue who fights with three legendary weapons at once; an all-powerful wizard who can speak thoughts into being; and an angelic assassin who deals instant death. Eager to attain the title of “One True Hero,” these champions each pursue challenges against formidable foes and spark conflicts themselves. The battle to determine the mightiest of the mighty begins.
