It’s always nice to see heroes teaming up, and we’re getting a great example of that in a new collaboration between My Hero Academia and Captain America: Brave New World. The latest MCU film opens around the world next week, so the final season of the My Hero Academia anime lined up right alongside it for a nice dual poster.
The left visual, featuring Hawks from My Hero Academia, reads “Fly with conviction,” and the right, featuring new Captain America Sam Wilson/Falcon, reads “Inherit the symbol and fly.” The text in the center combines to read “Determination makes heroes stronger.”
Fittingly, Hawks VA Yuichi Nakamura, who also serves as the Japanese dub for Steve Rogers, narrates the collaboration video below.
Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia manga is came to an end on August 5, 2024. This came shortly after Horikoshi announced that the series was entering its epilogue.
The anime is being made at BONES, with Naomi Nakayama helming the project as director. Kenji Nagasaki, the series director, will continue to be the Chief Director for the My Hero Academia final season. Yusuke Kuroda is on scripts, and credit for character design goes to Yoshihiko Umakoshi and Hitomi Odashima.
VIZ Media publishes the original manga by Kohei Horikoshi and gave this description for the first volume:
