As revealed during Aniplex Online Fest 2024, there’s a new original anime on the way from Kite and Mezzo Forte director Yasuomi Umetsu. Virgin Punk is in the works at Monogatari studio Shaft, with Umetsu directing and Lupin the 3rd writer Yuya Takahashi handling series composition.
The first part, titled “Clockwork Girl,” will screen in select theaters in Japan in summer 2025. Further details, such as the full release date and cast, have yet to be announced. For now, you can check out a trailer and key visual below.
