Witch Watch Manga Lands Anime Series for 2025Which witch is which, and who’s watching? Witch Watch, the manga by Kenta Shinohara, has landed a TV anime adaptation. The series is set for April 2025.

Alongside that news came the show’s first teaser video, a piece of key art, and a cast list:

Rina Kawaguchi as Nico Wakatsuki
Tomori Kusunoki as Nemu Miyao
Kōhei Amasaki as Kanshi Kazamatsuri
Kaito Ishikawa as Magami Keigo

We’ve also got word on who’s making Witch Watch, namely director Hiroshi Ikehata (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), screenwriter Deko Akao (Shadowverse) and character designer Haruko Iizuka (Ensemble Stars!). It’s being animated at Bibury.

Witch Watch launched in 2021, and there are currently 17 volumes, with an 18th on the way in September. Shinohara is also known for Astra Lost in Space, which got an anime adaptation back in 2019.

Morihito, a boy with the strength of an ogre, is about to start living together with his childhood friend Niko, who is training to be a witch. NIko’s magic leads to all sorts of unpredictable trouble, and with two teens under one roof… Let the fantastical antics begin!
