The second season of The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses (a.k.a. Megami no Café Terrace in Japanese) launches on July 4, and ahead of this a trailer dropped and more information on theme songs has been shared. In the trailer you can hear the new opening theme song “Charge!” being performed by Hikari Kodama.
It was also revealed that the season’s new ending theme song is titled “Nacchatta!” and performed by VTuber Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino (who is also called Pepechi). The song was written, composed and arranged by Kinoshita, who is a vocaloid producer.
There’s also this visual showing off the ten goddesses. The staff of Familia are on the left, with the recently-unveiled cast of rival café Family—including Kana Hanazawa as Hekiru Yoshino, Reina Ueda as Moemi Sоya, Ayana Taketatsu as Ririka Chiyoda, Yū Serizawa as Valentina Azuma and Rie Takahashi as Mao Takasaki—facing them on the right.
The first season started in April of last year, and is being streamed in America by Crunchyroll.
Kodansha USA is publishing the original manga series by Kouji Seo and gave this description for the plot:
When Hayato’s grandmother passed, he planned to sell her rundown café on the shore—not realizing that it was also home to five young women who call themselves her family?! Their desperation to keep the café open convinces Hayato to give it a shot…but even their best intentions might not be enough to make it work! And can he even work with these five unruly women? Seo is also the creator of A Town Where You Live and other titles. The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses manga began in early 2021, being published in the pages of Weekly Shonen Magazine from Kodansha.
