Omuro-ke is an anime film series adapting the YuruYuri spinoff manga by Namori, and the second film is set to open in Japan on June 21, 2024. Sporting the subtitle dear friends, the new film is on display in a trailer showcasing more footage along with the announcement of the theme songs.
The ending theme song will see cast members Sumire Uesaka Nao Toyama and Aoi Yuki perform “Patchwork Etcetera!”. Meanwhile, the insert song will also feature a trio of cast members—Emiri Kato, Chiwa Saito and Rina Hidaka—as they perform “My Sunny Side!” You can preview the insert song in the video below.
Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Harem in the Labyrinth of Another World) is directing the Omuro-ke anime films, with Masahiro Yokotani (The Devil is a Part-Timer!) on the script and Kazuyuki Ueda (LOVE FLOPS) on character designs for the Passione and Studio Lings production. Yusuke Shirato (In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki) handles music.
The first film, subtitled dear sisters, opened in Japan on February 2, 2024.
