Okay, it’s not quite The Boy and the Heron, but always cool to see some fresh Ghibli anime. The latest release from the lauded studio is a 15-second ad for Ghibli Park, the spot down in Aichi devoted to all things Ghibli. The ad reminds viewers that tickets go on sale on the 10th of each month.

The spot was storyboarded by Hayao Miyazaki himself, and directed by Akihiko Yamashita (character designer, Howl’s Moving Castle).

Ghibli Park is opening a new section called the Valley of Witches on March 16. Have you had a chance to visit yet, or is it on your list for a trip to Japan?
