The second part of the Dead Mount Death Play anime—based on the manga by Ryohgo Narita and Shinta Fujimoto—is right around the corner. Following up on earlier theme song reveals, we now have a concrete date and a new trailer and visual for the continuation. Look for the Dead Mount Death Play anime to carry on starting on October 9, 2023.

Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization) is directing and writing series composition for the Dead Mount Death Play anime, with Hisashi Abe (Berserk) on character designs and F.M.F on music for the GEEKTOYS production. Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime as it airs and describes it like so:
It’s a showdown for the ages as the legendary hero takes on the corpse god necromancer, but when the dust settles, something isn’t quite right… In the final moments of their epic confrontation, the corpse god’s final gambit shot was wholly unexpected — reincarnation magic!
