Any fans of Rainbow Days out there? Good news: its creator, Minami Mizuno, is launching a new manga in the pages of Bessatsu Margaret.
The manga is called Ao Haru-so e Yokoso, which means something like Welcome to Blue Spring Dorm. It’s about five high school boys with very different personalities living together in the same dorm. Sounds like a fun slice-of-life manga!
It’ll kick off in the March issue of the magazine, which hits shelves February 13.
Rainbow Days ran from 2012 to 2017, and inspired an anime series and a live-action film. Here’s how Shojo Beat describes the first volume:
These four friends couldn’t be more different: Natsuki Hashiba, a dreamer who longs for love, Tomoya Matsunaga, a self-centered playboy, Keiichi Katakura, a winsome guy with a hidden saucy streak, and Tsuyoshi Naoe, a socially awkward nerd who loves anime, manga, and games. Together their high school days are as vibrant as rainbows!
Excited to have plans on Christmas Eve, Natsuki feels like he’s finally catching up to his friends who are in relationships. But when the night doesn’t go as expected, the stage is set for falling in love.
