A new promo and visual have arrived for The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody, the upcoming anime adaptation of writer Myojin Katou and illustrator Sao Mizuno’s light novel series. More details came with them, too, including plans for an April 2022 premiere on TV in Japan, as well as the lead cast members and opening theme song artist.
The anime has Toshinari Fukamachi (Hajime Nagumo in Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest) voicing Ard/Demon Lord Varvatos, while Rie Takahashi (Emilia in Re:ZERO) voices the young version of the character.
Other cast members include Wakana Maruoka (Tia in Grand Summoners) as Ireena:
Hina Yomiya (Nodoka Yagi in Selection Project) as Ginny:
Ayaka Ohashi (Kurome in Akame ga Kill!) as Slyphy:
And Mie Sonozaki (Viola in One Piece) as Olivia:
Mirai Minato (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) is directing the adaptation, with Michiko Yokote on series composition and Takayuki Noguchi as character designer for the SILVER LINK. and BLADE co-production.
Slyphy VA Ayaka Ohashi is on the opening theme song, “Be My Friend!!!”.
