JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean debuts on Netflix today, and in episode two we learn that the ending theme song is “Distant Dreamer” by Duffy. While most anime opening and closing songs are done by Japanese artists, Duffy is Welsh, and her song originally came out in 2008. Universal Music Japan also shared on Twitter that this was the ending song.
The opening song, meanwhile, is called “Stone Ocean” and is performed by ichigo of Kishida Kyōdan & The Akeboshi Rockets.
The anime consists of twelve episodes, and is produced by david production. The chief director is Kenichi Suzuki, with the job of director going to Toshiyuki Kato. Kato was previously the series director for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable.
Netflix gave this description of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean:
