The Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation smartphone game—Mushoku Tensei ~Game ni Nattemo Honki Dasu~ (translated as Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation – I’ll Seriously Try Even If It’s Made Into a Game)—is getting a KONOSUBA crossover. It begins September 15 and will only be available for a limited time.

A live web broadcast to learn more about it is being offered this Saturday, September 11. Voice actors Jun Fukushima (Kazuma), Yumi Uchiyama (Rudeus Grayrat), and Ai Kayano (Darkness and Sylphiette) will all take part.

KONOSUBA has previously done crossover events with the Isekai Quartet franchise.

The Mushoku Tensei ~Game ni Nattemo Honki Dasu~ game came out in March thanks to Beaglee and is available through iOS and Android devices. The game is technically free, but you do have to pay for in-game items.

Crunchyroll gave this description of KONOSUBA’s story:

“After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…”

Funimation gave this description of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation:

“A 34-year-old unemployed recluse get hit by a truck… and wakes up as a newborn baby in a fantasy world! With loving parents, a lifetime of regrets, and a beginner’s magic textbook, he sets out to make the most of his second chance at life.”
