To say that it’s currently a difficult time to finish productions of any scale is a massive understatement. With that in mind, it’s a minor miracle that the staff at anime studio Actas was able to complete the upcoming Princess Principal: Crown Handler anime film.
The Princess Principal anime film picks up where the TV anime ended, and aims to be the first of a six-part series. Studio president Shunpei Maruyama relieved fans of any concerns by tweeting about the movie’s completion. Here’s what Maruyama had to say about it:
“Thank you for your patience. Despite the difficult times, the first chapter of Princess Principal Crown Handler has been completed. To the staff, thank you so much for your hard work.”
Directed by Masaki Tachibana, Crown Handler is currently scheduled for an April 10 debut. We’ll have to wait and see if that date stays in place.
