City Hunter Anime Film Gets Immersive 4D Screenings in Japan
Ah, the fourth dimension, that mysterious pocket of our universe in which theater seats shake while scented mist blasts in the faces of unsuspecting moviegoers. That’s the type of experience City Hunter fans can look forward to soon, because the new City Hunter: Shinjuku Private Eyes anime film is getting enhanced screenings in 4DX and MX4D theaters across Japan.
In addition to the effects—as well as the availability of Japanese subtitles for the hearing-impaired at select venues—there will be some limited edition goodies up for grabs. The special postcards will be given to viewers at random while supplies last, and you can see some sample images below.
