The Mobile Suit Gundam franchise is coming to U.S. theaters for the first time in nearly a decade! The debut of Mobile Suit Gundam NT (Narrative) is officially set for February 19, and you can check local theaters and purchase tickets in advance today.
The year is U.C. 0097, one year after the opening of “Laplace’s Box.” Despite the Universal Century Charter’s revelation, which acknowledges the existence and rights of Newtypes, much of the world’s framework remains the same. Now, following the “Laplace Incident” conflict that supposedly ended with the downfall of the Neo Zeon remnants known as the Sleeves, something appears to be brewing on the horizon.
The final battle of the conflict had two psycho-frame mobile suits—the white unicorn and the black lion—displaying unimaginable power. Thus, they were sealed away and removed from the consciousness of the people. While these powerful suits should have been long forgotten, the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam 03, which disappeared two years earlier, is about to rise again.
