September 12, 2017 Based on Crunchyroll’s PARK Harajuku: Crisis Team! webcomic, which has been running since May 2015 with writing by Otaku USA‘s own Patrick Macias and art by the amazing Mugi Tanaka, the URAHARA anime is almost upon us. The series is set to make its debut in Japan on October 4, and will be coming to Crunchyroll this fall, so check out the stylish debut promo below.
More details will follow on the timing for Crunchyroll’s simulcast of the series. For now, look forward to a series with a solid cast and staff lineup, including voice actors Luna Haruna, Sumire Uesaka, and Manaka Iwami, as well as director Amika Kubo and series composition writer Natsuko Takahashi.

Harajuku…The place where culture, kawaii, and fashion come together. Three high school girls Rito, Mari, and Kotoko are planning to open a temporary store called Park. One day, aliens from space come to Earth to take away the culture of humans. That’s when a mysterious girl who calls herself Misa appears. Now, in order to protect the Harajuku that they love, these three girls must be prepared for anything!
