Koei Tecmo recently announced an Attack on Titan action game, which is being developed by Omega Force, the team behind Dynasty Warriors and the Warriors-style games that followed. The previous 3DS game from Spike Chunsoft was met with mixed reactions, but from the looks of the debut screens this one at least appears to have nailed the style of the anime adaptation.
Attack on Titan will have players working strategically to take down Titans, and those with more experience playing games might find themselves able to pull off smooth moves, toppling Titans stylishly like Levi. The lead platform for development is PlayStation 4, but Attack on Titan is also coming to PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. See how it’s shaping up below.
Attack on Titan could hit Japan as early as this winter, with a release around the world slated for sometime in 2016.
