Square Enix’s arcade game Gunslinger Stratos is getting the anime treatment, with an adaptation in the works for an April 2015 debut. The project was announced during a conference earlier today, which also listed some of the staff and cast attached.
The original scenario for Gunslinger -The Animation- will be provided by Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero), while Nitroplus’s Norimitsu Kaihō handles series composition. Shinpei Ezaki (Kimi ni Todoke – From Me to You) is set to direct the A-1 Pictures production.

The cast from Square Enix’s arcade game will be reprising their roles for the anime. Some of the players include Atsushi Abe as Tohru Kazasumi, Junichi Suwabe as Ricardo Martini, Sayaka Ohara as Olga Janetine, Hisako Kanemoto as Kyōka Katagiri, and Masakazu Nishida as Kyōma Katagiri.
