The second part of the new Initial D anime film trilogy project has officially been given a title and premiere date. Shin Gekijo-ban Initial D: Legend 2-Tousou (with “闘走 Tousou” literally meaning Battle Run) opens in Japan on May 23, 2015.
The update comes from the trilogy project’s official website, which also shared a teaser visual that shows GT-R racing on a public road at midnight. The trilogy’s first chapter, Legend 1-Kakusei (Awakening)- debuted in Japan and Taiwan on August 23, and the Blu-ray release is set to hit Japan on December 26.
