Oshi no Ko Manga to Enter Final Arc This Month

oshi no ko

The final arc of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari’s Oshi no Ko manga is almost upon us. According to this year’s 28th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine, the series will enter the “Hoshi ni Yume ni” (“Toward the Stars and Dreams”) arc on June 27.

Ahead of that, a one-issue break is planned for June 20, with the final arc to start in this year’s 30th issue of Weekly Young Jump.

HIDIVE is currently streaming the first season of the anime adaptation, and will also stream the second season simultaneously with the Japanese release. HIDIVE said that the Oshi no Ko anime’s debut was the “#1 series launch in the streamer’s history.”

Yen Press is publishing the manga in English and gave this description for the first volume:

Gorou is a gynecologist and idol fan who’s in shock after his favorite star, Ai, announces an impromptu hiatus. Little does Gorou realize that he’s about to forge a bond with her that defies all common sense! Lies are an idol’s greatest weapon in this outrageous manga from Aka Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) and Mengo Yokoyari (Scum’s Wish).
