Toriko Anime Confirmed to End

Remember when we posted about the returning Dragon Ball Z Kai anime taking over Toriko‘s slot on Fuji TV in April? Well, Mantanweb confirmed that the continuation of Kai will follow the end of the Toriko anime adaptation, which has been running since 2011.

The end of Toriko a week prior to Kai‘s return brings its final tally to nearly 150 episodes. Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro’s manga is still ongoing, and has been running in Shonen Jump since 2008.

As previously reported, Dragon Ball Z Kai will kick off the Majin Buu arc when it comes back to Fuji TV on April 6.
