Yu Yu Hakusho Anime Celebrates 25 Years With Original Animation

The anime adaptation of Yoshihiro Togashi’s Yu Yu Hakusho manga is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and among the plans is a brand new original animation. The new anime will ship as part of the upcoming Yu Yu Hakusho 25th Anniversary Blu-ray Box set in Japan, the first of which hits shelves on July 27, 2018.

Part 1 will include episodes 1-26, which cover the Spirit Detective arc and both movies. Part 2 follows on August 28 with the 40-episode Dark Tournament saga, and part 3 comes in close behind on September 26 with the 28-episode Sensui/Chapter Black saga. Finally, part 4 arrives on October 26 with the 18-episode Demon World arc and the original animation.
