Yotsuba&! Gets Summer Exhibition in Yokohama

Yotsuba&! Gets Summer Exhibition in YokohamaIf you’re a fan of Kiyohiko Azuma’s Yotsuba&! and you’re going to be in Japan this summer, you’re in luck. An exhibition celebrating the popular manga will be held in Yokohama from July 26 to August 12.

A new poster for the exhibition with Yotsuba doing radio taiso exercises was unveiled today.

The exhibition, which is being held at Marui City Yokohama, will mainly feature original pages from the manga as well as rough drafts, materials and behind-the-scenes videos.

Naturally, there will also be a gift shop with lots of new Yotsuba&! items.

Here’s how Yen Press describes Yotsuba&!:

Hello! This is Koiwai Yotsuba, Yotsuba Koiwai…um, YOTSUBA! Yotsuba moved with Daddy to a new house from our old house waaaaaaay over there! And moving’s fun ‘cos people wave! (Ohhhh!!) And Yotsuba met these nice people next door and made friends to play with (one of ’em acted like one of those bad strangers Daddy told Yotsuba not to go with, but it was okay in the end). I hope we get to play a lot. And eat ice cream! And-and-and…oh yeah! You should come play with Yotsuba too!
