It’s officially time to continue the adventures of the Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon anime on home video. Just as one dilemma ends, another begins, as Towa and Setsuna are finally able to lift the curse that was placed on their mother, Rin. It wouldn’t be an exciting adventure from the world of renowned creator Rumiko Takahashi if it were that simple, though. The curse may be lifted, but they now have to stop Kirinmaru from traversing space and time and rescue Rion, all while preventing the imminent destruction of the earth.
It sounds like a tall order, but our heroes are more than up to the task, right? You’ll be able to find out in the latest two-disc Blu-ray set, which packs in episodes 37-48 in HD with English and Japanese audio options.
