An anime adaptation has been revealed for Ko Nikaido’s With You and the Rain, a siice-of-life manga that’s been running in Weekly Young Magazine since August 2020. Details are light at the moment, but the adaptation is currently penciled in for a premiere sometime in 2025.
In the meantime, we have a teaser visual to tide us over below, followed by an illustration from author Ko Nikaido. According to the creator, his tour of the animation studio inspired the piece of art.
Kodansha USA publishes With You and the Rain—which currently has six volumes in print with roughly 500,000 copies in circulation—in English and sums up the story like so:
