We Heart Japan to Hold Charity Event

We Heart Japan, a charity founded after this year’s devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan, is set to hold its third event, entitled We Heart Performing for Japan.

Taking place this Saturday, October 1st in Los Angeles, the show comprises two performances: a concert by Mari Iijima (Lynn Minmay, Macross) and a live reading of an anime episode by several noted dub actors. Guests include Beau Billingslea, Steve Blum, Melissa Fahn, and Wendee Lee.

General admission tickets cost $40, while premium seating and exclusive gift bags cost $60, with all the proceeds going toward the Japan NGO Earthquake Relief and Recovery Fund. More information, including tickets, can be found at www.weheartjapan.com.
