Chimaki Kuori’s Saint Seiya: Saintia Shō manga picks up after Saint Seiya‘s Sanctuary arc, but instead of following Seiya and the Saints it focuses on a group of female warriors with Shō in the lead. Toei Animation is currently working on an anime adaptation, and the staff revealed a new key visual this week.
Seven Seas Entertainment plans to launch the first volume of the manga on February 6, 2018.
Synopsis:
In the wake of a space-wide civil war instigated by Saga–the Gemini Gold Saint–a new team of Saints comes together with the goal of protecting their goddess Athena. This first all-woman team of armored warriors, powered by the Zodiac, will use their cunning, strength, and compassion to defend their worlds and oppose their very destinies.
