Upcoming TV anime Butlers—based on the popular Chinese webcomic known as Intouchable Butlers—was recently delayed from its original January 2018 debut to April 2018’s spring season. Despite the hiccup, a new key visual is here to get everyone hyped for the adaptation.
Butlers ~Chitose Momotose Monogatari~ follows a clan of mystical guardians with a history over a thousand years deep. Koma “Jay” Jinguji and his sister Tenna are both members, and they live a rather peaceful life at home with their butler, Tsubasa Hayakawa. That peace is disrupted when a space-time distortion strikes, leading to Tenna’s disappearance and sending Jay 100 years into a mysterious future.
It’s here that he discovers Koyomi Academy in place of his family’s mansion. Jay enrolls to look for clues and figure out a way to find Tenna and return, and bumps into Tsubasa—now employed at a butler cafe—in the process.
