What happens when you have Takeshi Sano, director of the Tower of God anime adaptation, helm a Rick and Morty short? Thankfully, Adult Swim came through to answer that question during this weekend’s Toonami block.
“Rick and Morty vs. Genocider” is a special short animated at Tower of God studio TELECOM ANIMATION FILM, with Takeshi Sano directing and handling key animation and storyboards. Tower of God‘s Takeshi Chiba handled animation inspection, and you can watch it below with the Japanese dub cast—including Youhei Tadano as Rick and Keisuke Chiba as Morty—providing the voices.
Previously, Studio DEEN animated a Rick and Morty short.
