October 23, 2008 With the North American DVD release of the 1980 adaptation of Keiko Takemiya’s Toward the Terra fast approaching, Right Stuf is streaming a trailer for the film on its official website. The long-awaited disc streets on November 25th, so go ahead and check out the preview while you’re waiting, and definitely check out the original manga—published domestically by Vertical—if you have a chance, as well.
It’s nice to see older films getting fresh releases over here. Produced by Toei Animation, Toward the Terra will feature the original Japanese audio in Dolby Digital dual mono with English Subtitles. Now go watch the trailer here.
