Anime studio P.A. Works stays busy, and its latest project is an original titled Towa no Yugure. P.A. Works revealed the series alongside MBS, with a debut currently set for this October as part of the MBS and TBS Super Animeism Turbo block.

The original work is credited to “Project FT,” and the anime has Naokatsu Tsuda (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) directing and overseeing scripts. Midori Tayama is credited as original character designer, and Yoshiko Saito is adapting the designs at P.A. Works, which has Masahiro Tokuda on music.
The story follows high schooler Akira, who woke to a war-ravaged world after being in cold sleep for 200 years. Cast members revealed thus far include Shuichiro Umeda as Akira Himegami, Yui Ishikawa as Yugure and Ai Kayano as Towasa Omaki. You can see their respective designs below.
