As recently announced through the Mobile Monicker agency, voice actor Tom Wyner has passed away. The actor—known for roles ranging from Devimon in Digimon Adventure and Quent Yaiden in Wolf’s Rain, among many others—was 77 years old.

Wyner has quite the list of anime titles attached to his résumé, and Devimon wasn’t his only connection to the Digimon series. Wyner also voiced Omnimon in Digimon Adventure tri.: Coexistence. Other roles include M. Bison in the Animaze dub of Street Fighter II V and Project 2501/The Puppet Master in Ghost in the Shell, as well as roles as Chubby in Robot Carnival, Wisdom in Pretty Cure, Goro Hoshino in Planetes, Professor Saotome in New Getter Robo, Sadayoshi in Puppet Princess and more.

Wyner also had a hand in anime as scriptwriter and ADR director. He also wrote scripts for Saban Entertainment and went on to work in audiobook narration.

You can see the announcement from Mobile Monicker below. The agency cites his first credit as being for Lupin the 3rd in 1978, and goes on to mention Wolfe from Robotech as Wyner’s breakout role before naming series titles like Power Rangers and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Our thoughts go out to the friends, family and colleague of Tom Wyner. He will be missed.
