This Hotel Wants Your Stay to Be like The Garden of Words Anime

Fans of Makoto Shinkai’s anime movie The Garden of Words ought to check out (or check into) the Hotel New Otani in Tokyo. Starting in June and lasting until July 21, the hotel is offering a Garden of Words theme.

Your hotel room will be full of green and also decked with shots from the movie. Makoto Shinkai’s -The Garden of Words- art collection booklet will be given out to guests, and of course the menu will have themed food and drink, with omelet rice and a green-tinged cocktail that tastes like fruit.

Perhaps most fittingly, there’s a huge Japanese garden outside where you can wander, and even if it’s not raining they’ll supply you with an umbrella so you can look like you’re in scenes from the movie.
