The third in the six-part Princess Principal: Crown Handler anime film sequel series premiered in Japan on Friday, so the official Emotion YouTube channel offered up an extended preview. While there are currently no English subtitles available, you can check out the first 11 minutes of the new film below.
The first film in the Princess Principal: Crown Handler series opened in Japan in February 2021 following a COVID-19 related delay. The second then followed in September 2021.
Sentai Filmworks licensed the full six-part Princess Principal anime film series and describes the first entry like so:
Following the attempted assassination of the Queen, manhunts for spies become a frequent occurrence within the Kingdom. In response, Control — the Commonwealth’s covert operations group — begins to suspect the presence of a double agent within the Kingdom’s royal family. In order to reveal the truth, Control dispatches spy ring “Team White Pigeon.” But danger lurks around every corner, and when you don’t know who you can trust, being a spy has never been more perilous for Ange and the rest of Team White Pigeon.
