A whole slew of information dropped about the upcoming yuri anime There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… The show is set to start on July 7, and a subtitled trailer lets us listen to the opening theme song — “Muri Muri Evolution” (translated as “The Impossible Theory of Evolution”) — performed by Akari Nanawo, as well as the ending theme song — “Mayocchauwa” (translated as “I’m Confused”) — performed by Philosophy no Dance.

One more member of the cast was announced: Mayu Sagara (Miku Kajiwara in Idol Memories) plays Haruna Amaori. It was previously revealed that Kanna Nakamura plays Renako Amaori, Saori Ōnishi plays Mai Ouzuka, Yukari Anzai plays Ajisai Sena, Kana Ichinose plays Satsuki Koto, and Takako Tanaka plays Kaho Koyanagi.

The show is being made at Studio Mother, with Natsumi Uchinuma, who has directed episodes for anime like Arifureta – From Commonplace to World’s Strongest and More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers, is helming the project as the director. The person handling series scripts is Naruhisa Arakawa of This Art Club Has a Problem!
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the original novels by Teren Mikami, as well as the manga version, and gave this description for the plot:
