Punichan’s The Villainess Is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom light novels have an anime in the works, and the latest update has it set for a January 2026 debut. A new key visual was also unveiled for the upcoming series along with information on the main cast and staff behind it.
Takayuki Hamana (The Prince of Tennis) directs, with Yoshimi Narita (Beet the Vandel Buster) writing scripts and Majiro (Barakamon) handling character designs for the Studio DEEN production.
Here’s a look at the main cast so far, all reprising roles from the otome game adaptation of the original novels:

After our protagonist finds herself reincarnated as the villainess of her favorite otome game, Tiararose, she must accept her in-game judgment. Things take a turn when Aquasteed, the crown prince of a neighboring country, appears with a marriage proposal event that didn’t occur in the original game.
