The TV anime adaptation of Cocoa Fujiwara’s The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies manga is set to kick off in July 2024, and now we have a new teaser to help prepare us. Check out the sample of what’s in store below.
The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies anime is being directed by Akiyo Ohashi (The Stranger by the Shore), with Yuniko Ayana (given) on series composition, Haruko Iizuka (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) on character designs and MAYUKO (Ranking of Kings) handling music for the BONES production.
Original author Cocoa Fujiwara, who also created Inu x Boku SS, passed away in 2015.
Yen Press recently announced plans to publish the manga in English starting this August. Here’s their official description:
