The Great Cleric is a manga series by Hiiro Akikaze that’s based on a novel series by Broccoli Lion, and it will soon be getting its own anime adaptation. A TV anime was announced along with commemorative illustrations by Akikaze and original character designer sime, so check those out below while we wait for further details.

Broccoli Lion’s original The Great Cleric novels started serialization on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website in October 2015, with Akikaze’s manga following in 2017. Vertical licensed the manga for English regions and sums up the story below.
The manga based on the hit light novel series (Japanese title: Seija Musō), about an ordinary salaryman who cheats death and now must find his way in another world—as a great healer.
