The Girl from the Other Side Getting Anime from Wit Studio

In 2019, Wit Studio released a ten-minute long anime adaptation of the manga The Girl from the Other Side: Siúil, a Rún. In 2021, they’ve announced they’re doing a feature-length adaptation of the same manga. A trailer has been released.

It will be an Original Anime DVD and become available in 2022, along with a bonus volume of the manga.

Though this has all been planned out, Wit Studio is still planning to hold a Kickstarter to help them with costs. The Kickstarter will take place March 10-May 30, and they are hoping to raise about $27,710.

Jun Fukuyama will play Teacher, and Rie Takahashi will play Shiva. Yūtarō Kubo and Satomi Maiya, who both worked on the shorter adaptation, will be directors, screenwriters and designers. Likewise, Schroeder-Headz, who did the music for the short anime, will also be scoring the longer feature.
