Ryo Mitsuya kicked off a manga adaptation of Mato Sato and Nilitsu’s The Executioner and Her Way of Life light novel series in Young Gangan magazine back in June 2020, and now it’s about to come to an end. According to this year’s eighth issue of the magazine, the adaptation will come to an end on April 19, 2024, when the next issue hits stands in Japan.

As of August 2023, there are six collected volumes in print.

Yen Press publishes the novels and licensed the manga in English, summing up the story:

The Lost Ones are strangers from another world, hailing from a place no one has ever heard of called “Japan.” These wanderers have been associated with catastrophes since many years ago, and the solemn duty of exterminating them without remorse falls to Menou, a young Executioner. But when her mission is complicated by a Japanese girl named Akari who refuses to die, Menou embarks on a peculiar journey to find something that can slay even an immortal who insists on traveling with her would-be killer!

The Executioner and Her Way of Life previously inspired a TV anime adaptation, which aired as part of the Spring 2022 season.
