Plans have slightly changed for the U.S. streams of the Tatami Time Machine Blues, which were recently announced as streaming on Disney+ starting today, November 9. Now those listings are no longer on Disney+ in the U.S., as Hulu has revealed that it will be streaming the complete first season of the series starting on the same date.
The series—which follows up author Tomihiko Morimi’s The Tatami Galaxy and is directed by Shingo Natsume (Sonny Boy, One-Punch Man) at Science SARU—is being billed as the “complete first season” on Disney+. It will include all five episodes and the Disney+ exclusive sixth episode, which tells an original story not featured in Morimi’s source material.
The anime is also available in the form of a compilation film, which kicked off its three-week run in Japanese cinemas on September 30.
Masaaki Yuasa previously helmed both the original The Tatami Galaxy anime and The Night is Short, Walk On Girl, which was a spin-off anime film.
