A lot is going on with the Suikoden series! According to Konami during their livestream today, Suikoden II is getting an anime adaptation, there’s going to be a new game called Genso Suikoden: Star Leap, Suikoden I is getting a stage play, there will be a concert for three games, and then there’s a Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars trailer just before the release.
The anime adaptation mentioned is being made in-house at KONAMI animation. Ryō Hino of NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan is working as the production manager.

The Rune of Change is one of the 27 True Runes that are said to have created the world.
The story begins just east to the giant Scarlet Moon Empire, at a village located on the shore of a lake. The game’s theme song is titled “Campanella” and performed by Kaho Nakamura.
Meanwhile, the Suikoden I stay play is scheduled to take place in December in both Tokyo and Kyoto.
There is also going to be a concert in May in Tokyo with music from Suikoden I, Suikoden II, and Star Leap.
And Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is going to become available on March 6 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Steam. Here is the trailer:
