The anime adaptation of Keigo Maki’s romantic comedy manga Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie may not be coming out until April 2022, but the latest character visual proves that its lead is ready for fall. This is the first of four “Miss Shikimori in all 4 seasons” visuals, so see how her style matches the autumnal changes below.

Ryota Ito (My Senpai is Annoying) is directing the TV anime at production house Doga Kobo. Kodansha USA publishes the original manga in English and describes it:

Shikimori and Izumi are high school sweethearts. They hold hands walking home from school, they flirt in the halls, they tease each other. But Shikimori knows what she wants, and how to get it, and she can turn from cutie to cool in an instant.
