You might want to take a moment to let this title set in, but know that the series is apparently more wholesome than it implies. I Shaved. Then I Brought Home a High School Girl is a romantic comedy light novel series written by Shimesaba and illustrated by Imaru Adachi, and it officially has an anime adaptation in the works.

The original series is published in Japan by Sneaker Bunko. It follows 26-year-old salaryman Yoshida, who was just rejected by his five-year crush. Soon, he crosses paths with a high school runaway, who says, “I’ll let you do it with me, so let me stay with you.” He replies, “Don’t even joke about something like that,” and their story begins.

There isn’t much more in the way of information about the adaptation, but it was announced along with the release of the novel series’ third volume. There’s also a manga adaption in the pages of Shonen Ace and on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker.
